Following the controversial introduction of the draft boundary definition Rules for earthquake affected areas of Christchurch by LINZ in early 2015, Members in that location asked LPMS to provide advice as to the period of their liability for work done in the course of providing professional land surveying services.
LPMS subsequently researched the matter and sought legal advice, as it soon became clear that there was no simple answer to the question raised.
